Top 10 Tuesday – Independence Edition

TTT-NEW

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This weeks prompt was to choose books with red, white, and blue covers in line with the upcoming Independence Day holiday. Now, while I AM American, I’m not super keen on what’s happening in the good ole US of A lately, so I’m changing mine a little. I live in Ireland now, so I’ll be highlighting books with green, white, and orange covers! And celebrating the independence of Ireland while I’m at it!!

1. The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo – Taylor Jenkins Reid
Everyone I know who has read this is in love with it, so I really need to pick it up soon!

2. The Gilded Wolves – Roshani Chokshi
Ever since I saw the cover reveal, I knew I needed this. The synopsis sounds awesome, and Chokshi is a queen!

3. Contagion – Erin Bowman
This is just a really cool cover. The description sounds like Illuminae meets Roanoke

4. The Cruel Prince – Holly Black

The Cruel Prince has been in my possession since it released… Still not sure why I haven’t read it, yet.

5. Love & Luck – Jenna Evans Welch

Set in Ireland, and a pretty cover! I’ve heard good things about this so far.

6. Nice Try, Jane Sinner – Lianne Oelke

Heard loads of things about this one! Looking forward to it…eventually.

7. Circe – Madeline Miller

Another that’s been in my possession since release! I love this cover, and the stamped hidden cover.

8. The Burning Sky – Sherry Thomas

Just caught my eye, and has been on my Goodreads TBR for ages.

9. The Gunslinger – Stephen King

I saw the movie! I know, I know….read the book first, but I wasn’t aware of the book before then.. It was really good, though!

10. Turtles All The Way Down – John Green

I love John Green. Must I say more?

Did any catch your eye? Or have you already read some of these? Let me know in the comments!
