Celebrate International Women’s Day!

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY !!!

This is such a wonderful day for ladies the world over. I love seeing females lift each other up and celebrate their successes! Life can be stressful and hard, so finding the time to celebrate the small things makes it all worthwhile. And I’m not saying IWD is a small thing. Because it’s most definitely not. IWD was created as a focus day for the women’s rights movement, which has come so far since its first celebration in 1909. Although we’ve come so far, there is still work to be done. But there are loads of political blogs out there that have talked about that, and this is a book blog!

So, some feminist books I recommend you read today are:

1. SKY IN THE DEEP by Adrienne Young

2. We Set the Dark on Fire by Tehlor Kay Mejia

3. The Priory Of The Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon

4. Sherwood by Meagan Spooner

5. We Should All Be Feminists by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

I am constantly inspired by women I know and badass lady authors I read, so let’s keep that up! Oh, and recommend me some feminist novels I need to read right now! 😘
