A few final words
Wayfarers! I am finally back home after a massive home/pet sitting job! I was gone for six weeks and it feels so good to be home. Still haven’t unpacked though because I was working all day today and reading all day yesterday, so too tired for unpacking and organising. Today, the weather was brutal! I was outside at my dog training job and it actually snowed! Absolutely frozen I was once I made it home… Oh, and I got my Irish Residence Permit in the post! Anyway, I got to read quite a bit this week and my favourite was a tie between The Truth about Keeping Secrets and Sherwood… I don’t think I can decide which I liked better yet. This is going to be a busy week coming up, so not sure if I’ll get much reading in this week..
Glad you’re enjoying being home after your live-in job! My daughter is interested in possibly being a dog trainer one day. Seems like a great job for a pet-lover.

It really is, but so much work and the responsibility can be overwhelming sometimes. I’ve another live-in coming up on the weekend 😜 I do love the training, though! I did a master’s in Animal Behaviour and Welfare, so hope to be a behaviourist someday.

That’s actually really interesting to know. We’ve been wondering what she might want to study in school to work with animals.

She can’t go wrong with zoology or animal science, but would need behaviour for training, etc.

The Cold in Her Bones looks super cool and I love that cover. I would die doing dog training. It’s too damn cold here LOL

I love the cover too! It’s so interesting 😍 I think it was 2 or 3° yesterday and nearly died, so I get you! It was miserable. Thankfully, it mainly kept to between classes and not during.
