OH MY GOSH HOW DID I NOT FIND OUT ABOUT THIS CHALLENGE UNTIL NOW?!?!?!
Happy St. Paddy’s to me, I guess??
haha oh well! There’s still loads of month left, so I’ll absolutely be focusing on some upcoming and recent Irish releases. I just got Last Ones Left Alive (Sarah Davis-Goff), so will get to start that very soon! Heard loads of great things about it. And I was lucky enough to get an advance proof of Perfectly Preventable Deaths, an upcoming release from Deirdre Sullivan!
Also, I have Tangleweed & Brine (Sullivan), which I’ve started and loved. Hopefully, I’ll get to read a few more of those stories.
May have to move up Spare & Found Parts (Sarah Maria Griffin) on my TBR. Been looking for a good challenge for that one! Fingers crossed I get approved for her newest, Other Words for Smoke before month’s end. Read the sampler and oh.my.DAMN! #dead
Oh, The Surface Breaks (Louise O’Neill) and Dark Wood Dark Water (Tina Callaghan)! Also, just picked up Oh My God, What a Complete Aisling (Emer McLysaght and Sarah Breen)… Then, there’s The Break (Marian Keyes), which has been sitting on my shelf for ages..
Right, so gonna have to narrow this down a bit! We shall see what I can fit in through the next 14 days!
What recs do ye have for reading Irish authors?
