Can’t Freakin’ Wait Wednesday 06/03/19

Can’t Wait Wednesday is hosted by Tressa over at Wishful Endings and was based on Waiting on Wednesday’s, which is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. She created it to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released, but that’s not always the case. I happen to have pile upon piles of books I am excited to read, so thought this would be a fun meme in which to partake!

I first found out about this because an excerpt of the first chapter was posted online for free reading. Then, I found out it was included in an Illumicrate box I missed – bet you can imagine how bummed I was to find that out. The excerpt was so good – the right amount of build-up and action to draw me in and leave me wanting more. I just knew I had to read this as soon as I can get my hands on it. I hopefully have a blogger friend sending me a copy, so I will keep you all posted! I know several friends have gotten to read this already and I am so jealous! Also, I love that the Goodreads page included a trigger warning. We need more of those for sensitive readers. Did you know this is Kalyn Josephson’s DEBUT novel? And it’s already getting so much hype, so I think this is going to be a hugely successful launch!
